Not quite the beach we were hoping for… Still, good fun exploring the myriad of different pebble types. We found some that were egg shaped, some that were shiny white, black, or red, and even one that had lucky number 14 on it!

Grandparents were here for a visit at the end of June. Here we are at the local pub having fun at their rickety playground.
Yorkshire selfy
At the top of a sandstone pillar from Dalby Forest in Yorkshire. After spending half a day in the lovely England countryside, we drove to York to visit the old city. We purposely dodged the crowds of the 2nd stage of Le Tour de France (from York to Sheffield) by a day. It worked!
